Two Capitals Tour

The group will consist of a maximum of 15 people and will be organized with a set 8-day itinerary.

This type of tour will apply to ALL TOURISTS coming to Russia!

Day 1 (Sunday): Arrival in Moscow

Arrival in Moscow and meeting with the guide and the driver. Transfer to the centrally located hotel ****

Day 2 (Monday): Moscow

09:00 Meeting with the guide in the lobby of the hotel

09:00-13:00 Sightseeing tour (including stops by important historical places and the cathedral of Christ the Savior)

13:00 – 14:30 Time for lunch on the Red Square

14:30 – 17:00 The excursion to Novodevichy Convent, a 16th-century cluster of sparkling domes, one of the city’s most beautiful groups of buildings and full of history and treasures. The adjacent Novodevichy Cemetery is Moscow‘s most prestigious resting place after the Kremlin.

Moscow Night Cruise. Take this opportunity to join the night cruise of a long river Moskva on board a luxury boat of Moscow Radisson Cruise and enjoy an unforgettable panorama of a city that never sleeps with its wonderful lightening in the heart of the city. Day 3 (Tuesday): Moscow

10:00 Meeting with the guide in the lobby of the hotel

10:00-11:30 Tour to the Kremlin by Metro. You’ll have the opportunity to discover why the Moscow subway is known as the most beautiful in the world. You will be stunned by some recognized stations all over the world and learn the history behind them

11:30 – 13:30 Kremlin tour (one of the major museums of the world, an important and grandiose architectural complex. The historical, spiritual, and political heart of Moscow and the city's most famous landmark and tourist attraction. It's an intriguing ensemble of buildings with an architectural variety that reveals a long and fascinating history.)

13.30-15.00 Time for lunch on the Red Square

15.00-17.30 Tour with a guide to The State Tretyakov Gallery (The State Tretyakov Gallery possesses a unique collection of Russian art which includes masterpieces that span a period of a thousand years.)

18:00 Back to the hotel

Day 4 (Wednesday): Moscow –St Petersburg

12:00 – 13:00 Transfer to the railway station to take a High-speed train “Sapsan”. Departure time from Moscow is 13:30 and arrival to St Petersburg at 18:15

18.15 Arrival in St Petersburg. Meeting with the guide, and transfer to the hotel. The guide will be waiting for the group near the wagon with a tablet

19:30 Check in the 4-star hotel ****

Day 5 (Thursday): St Petersburg

10.00 Meeting with the guide and the driver near the hotel

10.00 -15.00 sightseeing tour (including stops by sphinxes near the spit of Vasilevsky Island). Visit to St Peter and Paul Fortress (This is the first building of the ancient city of St. Petersburg and there are tombs of the Romanov dynasty in the Cathedral). The Savior on Spilled Blood (The Church of the Russian styled domes which attract by its dazzling and colorful facades and interiors)

19.00 Optional evening program (Ballet, folk performance)

Day 6 (Friday): St Petersburg

09:00 Meeting with the guide and the driver in the lobby of the hotel

09:00 – 10:00 The tour in Pushkin town which is 25 km from St. Petersburg and famous for its Catherine Palace and its magnificent interior: the famous "Amber Room" (a work of art of inestimable value and beauty)

10.00-12.30 The tour of Catherine Palace, Amber room, and the gardens with a guide.

12.30 – 13:30 Back to the city

13.30 – 15:00 Time for lunch in the restaurant in the center of the city.

15:00 - 17.30 Tour to Hermitage Museum (one of the major museums of the world, an important and grandiose architectural complex that has one of the most important art collections)

18.00 Back to the hotel

19.00 Optional evening program (Ballet, folk performance)

Day 7 (Saturday): St Petersburg

09:00 Meeting with the guide and the driver in the lobby of the hotel

09:00 - 10:30 The way to Peterhof (the summer residence of the czars, called the "Russian Versailles"). Peterhof (Petrodvorets) is a jewel of Russian art, a city of parks, palaces, and fountains. It is located 29 km to the west of St. Petersburg

11.00 - 14.00 Tour to Peterhof parks and Peterhof Grand Palace

14.00 - 15.00 Back to the city

19.00 Optional evening program (Ballet, folk performance)

8 (Sunday) St Petersburg

Meeting with the guide and the driver. Transfer to the airport.
