This is the first building of the ancient city of St. Petersburg and there are tombs of the Romanov dynasty in the Cathedral. The Fortress is the part of the Museum of the History of St. Petersburg. The main building of a complex is the Cathedral of St Peter and St Paul - one of the symbols of St. Petersburg, the tomb of the Royal family of Romanovs. In the historical buildings of fortress there are different exhibitions of the museum.
